CODE Meee Created and Directed Fragrance Experiences at the Osaka–Kansai Expo Pavilion

As part of the ST Group’s pavilion initiatives at the Osaka–Kansai Expo, held from April 13 to October 13, 2025, CODE Meee took charge of creating and directing the fragrance experiences.

Under the theme “Thank you, Life”, we contributed to the Pasona Group Pavilion, which showcases innovations such as iPS heart and future medical technologies, as well as the Fukui Prefecture Zone “Dinosaur Kingdom Fukui” inside the Kansai Pavilion. In both projects, our goal was to help visitors experience each pavilion’s unique worldview more vividly through scent.

Dinosaur Kingdom Fukui

At the Pasona Group Pavilion’s exhibit “Wonder Earth”, we created a fragrance representing the rich soil formed by microorganisms, expressing the world of life woven by these unseen beings and deepening visitors’ immersion into that world.

For “Dinosaur Kingdom Fukui”, developed in collaboration with the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, we consulted paleobotany experts to recreate the air and atmosphere of the Early Cretaceous period, when dinosaurs roamed the earth—allowing visitors to feel as if they had stepped back into prehistoric times.

In line with the Expo’s overarching theme, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” this project aimed to place unforgettable fragrances beside people’s unforgettable memories. Many visitors shared warm and touching feedback after experiencing these spaces.
Moving forward, CODE Meee will continue to explore the potential of fragrance as a medium for preserving memories and emotions, enriching the world with the power of scent.
